The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) stated, earlier Wednesday, that Israeli troops abducted eleven Palestinian residents from various parts of the occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the PPS said Israeli troops invaded various areas of the occupied West Bank, stormed and ransacked many homes, starting late on Tuesday night until early dawn hours Wednesday, and that the invasions were concentrated in the Ramallah and al-Biereh Governorate, in central West Bank.
In its press release, the soldiers abducted seven Palestinians in the Ramallah and al-Biereh, and identified them as Salim Rassem Rimawi, from Beit Rima village, Hussam Yousef Barghouthi, from Kafr Ein village, Wael Ata and Taha Hussein Barghouthi, from Deir Abu Mashal village, as well as Mifleh Abdul-Ghafer from Deir al-Sudan village.
It is worth mentioning that Salim is the brother of Tamer Rimawi, a political prisoner serving a life term in Israeli prisons.
In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mofid Fathi Za’rour and Jarrah Abdullah Hantouli, from their homes in Sielet ath-Thaher, south of Jenin.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Emad Khader Shehada, 23, from the Ektaba area, in Tulkarem, also in northern West Bank.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Jaber from his home in Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem.
